Hôtel Ernest is where Prof. Llewellyn-Jones and Dr Piquette will be staying. Our morning lectures will take place just around the corner in Hôtel Paris La Fayette (23 Rue des Messageries, 75010 Paris). This location is a 30-minute walk or short Metro ride from the Louvre.
Hôtel Ernest have prepared a reduced price quote for BSS and are holding a limited number of rooms until 1 April:
- Price for 3 nights (check-in Thursday 15 - check-out Sunday 18 May) per room per night is €205.00
- City tax of €5.53 p.p.p.n. will also be applied
- Rate includes continental breakfast

- A deposit of 50% of the invoice must be sent 1 month before arrival to confirm your reservation with the balance sent 7 days before arrival
- Note that Hôtel Ernest does not have a lift. Should you require lift access, contact Kathryn (email below) about two rooms being held in Hôtel Paris La Fayette
Hotel cancellation policy:
- All cancellations must be in writing to be confirmed
- In case of total or partial cancellation, the hotel may charge the guest as indicated below:
- More than 30 days: no penalty
- Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be kept
- Between 15 and 7 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount will be kept
- 7 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount will be paid
- In case national travel restrictions advice against travelling to the destination in question or closed borders prevent a group from travelling, cancellation at any time is free of charge. Under these circumstances, you may request a full (100%) refund or a voucher for the value of your booking valid for 18 months.
You will need to arrange your own travel to Paris.

- Prof. Llewellyn-Jones and Dr Piquette will travel by Eurostar in the early afternoon on Thursday 15 May on and will advise participants ASAP which train to book should they wish to join us. London-Paris Eurostar fares are between £54 and £94 each way (at time of writing).
